Introduction
At first, three ideas yet explored in osteopathy : – The tensegrity in cells strongly emphasized by Jean François Megret – Medullary traction force notion put forward by Antonio Ruiz de Azua Mercadal. – Physiological Torsion from Yves Guillard, who gave me the idea of the Helix and abdominal counterweights. I have set up a personal concept which originated from these ideas, but without their original authors agreeing necessarily with the final design. This concept may ; – clear up the interpretation of certain diseases previously seen as complex – Simplify the osteopathic treatment – Help to explain the osteopathic PRM (primary respiratory mechanism)] as a resonant body structure that can be amplified by the overtone singing. – Public : Osteopaths from all backgrounds, students during the end of training. – Speaker: Patrick Chêne, osteopath D.O., veterinarian teaching compared osteopathy in Nantes National Veterinary School, editor of the European Journal of compared osteopathy “Ostéo4pattes“.Three steps
1 – Implementation of the structure:
A – MTF: medullary traction Force – Implementation in theory of the concept of strength traction of spinal cord, from childhood to the adult stage (apparent rise of the spinal cord in the medullary canal ) – Physiological and pathological consequences. Examples for different species (mainly humans beings, dogs, cats, and horses). – Workshop: perception of the MTF and the principles of its treatment. B – Helix & counterweights Helix in the fascia tissue : – Its relationship with the physiological torsion. – Its route on the body, its effects. – Its perception – Its treatment. – The way to mesure its visceral counterweights : – Four visceral spaces: Abdomen, chest, neck, the cerebellum as a viscera. – Interest of this vision. – Effects, perception, treatment. Osteopathic tests on human beings and animals 2 – Implementation of the Movement: – The MRP and physiological torsion : The Yves Guillard physiological torsion represents the third time of MRP. – Natural movements which bring the system into resonance. – Ability to set a different resonance: example of overtone singing. Learning the perception of its effects. Song learning. 3-Balance of the system – How the system balances itself. – How it may be thrown out of balance. – How to detect loss of balance, – How to help rebalancing it. – Interest of the treatment, understanding some side effects. Since Gödel’s been there (Undecidability Theorems and mathematical incompleteness) we know that nothing can be demonstrated inside a set without having at least come up with an unprovable assertion. So, by definition, everything is true and everything is wrong. The system which is presented here isn’t in conflict with other systems and I do not offer you a new truth. I only give you one point of view, that, in some cases, can be very useful and practical. It could have been created otherwise. For example, for the fascial helix: – The fasciae are usually seen as a real mess …. a tangle of fibers – I could have organized the previous chaos in 6 ribbons browsing the body, then I would have talked about acupuncture meridians.Program on two days:
If not real, the concept we shall build is relevant to organize tensegrity in mammal bodies (human beings included) and then to set the system in motion.– 2136
